Move & Eat 2 Live (ME2L)

Move & Eat 2 Live Program was part of the Telenutrition Center Research Project managed by the MS INBRE Community Engagement and Training Core. The overall goal of this study was to assess the implementation of an evidence-based, intensive behavioral therapy program (with a motivational interviewing [MI] framework) in clinic and church-based real world settings with technology supplementation to address obesity and related chronic disease among young adult (25 to 50 years of age) African Americans using an adapted and comprehensive implementation fidelity model. The program utilized interventionists trained as health coaches to deliver a nutrition and physical activity program young to middle-aged adults in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
