Community Outreach Intern Application
The Telenutrition Center offers volunteer internship positions throughout the year for USM students to earn community service hours and gain outreach experience at community events. Additionally, students are trained and mentored by the experienced Telenutrition staff, helping them become more workplace ready. These internships provide valuable, hands-on experience working with members of the community to create a healthier Mississippi. The program is offered on a semester basis, includes participation in an initial orientation, and requires 5 hours of community outreach participation per month to successfully complete the program. Interns earn a certificate and Pathways cord upon successful completion of program requirements.
